| Dallas Providence Homes |
Our homes offer families the benefits of living in 'healthy interdependence' and more time to foster economic and self-sufficiency. Residents live in a highly structured environment with direct supervision from live-in counseling staff as well as extensive community involvement. A unique 24-month length of stay gives the women the time they need to transform their lives as they move toward wise choices and stability.
The success of the program centers on the ability to promote a sense of family. Each supported community home will have a sponsoring church to uniquely provide additional support, mentoring and a sense of community. The church and its members adopt the resident with direct input from live-in staff, the counseling team, social services and individual members of the sponsor church. The depth of this support network greatly increases the potential for positive change with each resident.
