About Dallas Providence Homes

Dallas Providence Home is a 'transformational housing' ministry that offers key program elements, which create a culture of success. Our program is set apart in that the resident will live in a highly structured environment utilizing direct supervision and community involvement, with a 2 year length of stay which promotes stability and wise choices.

Dallas Providence Homes was chartered as a sister organization to the Providence Network of Denver. Since 1988, the Providence Network of Denver has been helping homeless men and women seek a stable and safe environment to heal. Today, in Denver, the Providence Network operates 9 facilities with over 110 men women and children.

The Providence Network Model is unique, in that we are not a 'shelter'. We are a 'transformational housing' ministry. The Dallas Providence Homes program is a 2 year curriculum that provides a continuum of care for women and their children. We provide a safe place to transform their lives through counseling and an understanding of the role of Christ in their lives.

Mission Statement
The Mission of the Dallas Providence Homes, Inc. is to transform lives through a 24 month continuum of care, counseling, housing, and life-skill training which allows women and their children who are victims of domestic violence to become self sufficient.
Vision
Our vision is to have at least one Providence Home in every major U.S. city. We hope to achieve this vision by 2015. As a major first step, we will apply for our national charter by 2009.
